Thinking about possible installation ideas....
after looking at the installation of Lambie's coloured tape works and how they are fit into a particular space I have started to consider the space I am installing in. I have thought about the backing materials for my circles and contemplated putting some on canvas to bend around corners, while others sit on plastic, leaning against the wall and linking to ones lying flat on the ground.
To create these patterned carpets, Dutch artist Suzan Drummen uses diverse materials like mirrors, precious stones, metal pieces, and more. Each object is meticulously hand-placed, and to reach certain areas it is like playing a game of Twister.
